"La Baraque à Films is a movie production based in Paris. The word "La Baraque" refers to the typical food truck in North of France. Based on this, we place and play with the codes used in the restoration. The entire graphic is adapted from notepad for taking orders or issue an invoice. So we worked around three colors used on these notepads with a little retro style."

Château Bâtard is a young graphic design studio based in Paris, France. Focused on graphic design, print design, branding and typography.

Displaced

Unfortunately I’m stuck with stills because tumblr doesn’t like the gifs from the Behance page. Nonetheless Spain based designer Ion has created an awesome alphabet of displaced type. Starting with  a square - you dissect it and displace the resulting parts in such a method, that when combine the positive and negative spaces, letter forms are been formed.

Check out the video below to see how they’re made and check out the Behance page here to see the awesome GIF.

Play-Doh Mosaics

Artist Lacy Knudson creates beautiful mosaics using play-Doh. Ranging in size from 3x4 feet to 4x8 feet, each piece takes months to complete as Knudson meticulously places the tiny dots onto the canvas.
